We are currently looking to recruit an Analyst to concentrate on Strategy and Operational improvement.  We work with clients across all industry sectors and in recent projects we have made a major difference to their procurement, planning, and manufacturing operations. 

Our skills span the full spectrum of change approaches, from operational improvement to market analysis, strategy development and full business transformation.

About the analyst role

  • To provide support to all most aspects of the project life-cycle such as planning, delivery, governance, reporting, financial management
  • To participate in writing articles and content for the company’s website/selected social media
  • To contribute to the development of the firm’s set of tools and methodologies
  • To contribute to proposals and bids and pitch materials
  • To acquire accurate data and perform focused analysis
  • To keep up-to-date on relevant market trends, industry news and technical tools that are relevant to key sectors

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a high performing individual who consistently delivers; a talented individual who meets the following general requirements:

  • A good first degree in Business or Accountancy
  • An MBA from a quality internationally recognised Business School is a big plus as the requirement for logical thinking and strategic analysis is key to our projects
  • Minimum of 1 year’s business experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A hands-on and versatile approach is also critical as all our consultants get involved in both implementation and strategy
  • Client focus
  • Previous consulting capability
  • Enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills and a love of working in teams with the client
  • Willingness to work on client site – mostly in the UK; maybe in continental Europe, with occasional further travel 

The recruitment process will take place remotely and initially, this role will predominantly be home-based. Over the coming months, as we begin to work more from our London office, this role will become based at the Mayfair office and on client site.

We work with clients across all industry sectors. We have recently strengthened our Public Sector offering and are now looking for a Principal to join the team.

About the Principal role

  • Lead strategy and transformation consulting engagements of various sizes within the Public Sector
  • Maintain and expand his/her existing network of relevant C-Suite relationships in public sector organisations
  • Have a strong focus on business development for front line selling of consulting services 
  • Mount and execute proposition-based campaigns to market to drive new leads/stoke existing ones
  • Manage bids and pitches through to close
  • Proactively be engaged with internal contribution activities of the practice such as running training courses, building propositions, supporting on marketing activities
  • Present consulting services at conferences and webinars, and via digital marketing channels
  • Support the practice by identifying and contributing to Thought Leadership
  • Act as a mentor to more junior consultants within the team

What we’re looking for

  • At least 10 years’ experience as a management consultant, ideally at least 2-3 years at Principal Consultant or Director level within a recognised strategy house, major multi-disciplinary practice 
  • A specialist Healthcare sector focus would be an advantage 
  • Proven capability leading strategy, operational improvement, organisational design, operating model design and/or digital transformation consulting engagements within the Public Sector 
  • Familiarity/knowledge of public sector consulting procurement process
  • Experience in managing annual revenue between £1m – £2m fee income and have contributed from £750k upwards in extension and new sales 
  • Evidence of successful major programme design and delivery engagements 
  • An established network of valuable contacts that will provide pipeline opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience of winning new business in both ‘existing account expansion’ and ‘new client win’ opportunities 
  • Confident with low ego, adept communicator, with humility and sense of humour, passion for very high-quality consulting output and outcomes-driven 
  • Technically strong across the consulting skillset: analytically expert, insight-driven, adept business modeller and problem-solver, a trusted advisor practitioner, will have A-Z of change management and transformation skills 
  • Proven team-leading, stakeholder management and client relationship-building skills at senior management, executive committee and C-Suite levels
  • Possess the energy, motivation, enthusiasm and desire to progress to Partner level 
  • Logical thinking and strategic analytical skills
  • An MBA from a quality internationally recognised Business School is desirable

    Successful candidates for Senior Consultant will:

What we’re looking for

    You will have:

  • First Degree in Business or Accountancy
  • Significant experience, preferably within consulting
  • Sector knowledge
  • Experience in advanced analytics and visualisation tools
  • Proven track record in a specialism
  • People and change management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Good project management knowledge
  • Willingness to work on client site five days a week, every week – mostly in the UK; may be in continental Europe, with occasional further travel
